DRAFT — NOT SENT — 12 October 2026 Request to BOCSAR / NSW Police / Transport for NSW Please advise whether public transport bus-stop waiting and boarding areas can be isolated from on-board buses, depots, general street incidents and other transport premises. 1. Supply the exact fine premises / location codes, definitions, recording coverage and historical changes. Are roadside stops distinguishable from bus interchange waiting / boarding areas? How are uncertain locations coded? 2. If feasible, provide monthly offence-specific criminal incident counts for 1 July 2021–30 June 2026, plus the latest available period separately. Clarify incident, event, victim and charge counting rules, deduplication, revisions, missingness and suppression. 3. Please provide sufficiently privacy-protected location detail (stop ID or suitable geography) to distinguish City of Sydney LGA, BOCSAR Greater Sydney including Central Coast / Gosford, and areas outside Greater Sydney. Define a validated urban/rural crosswalk for regional denser-town and low-density settings rather than classifying entire mixed LGAs. 4. Clarify that city and Greater Sydney are nested, and provide statewide totals without double counting. Provide coverage and completeness for each period and geography. 5. Separate assault, sexual offences, robbery, threats/harassment and property offences. Separately advise on non-crime safety incidents; never combine emergency, perception and crime records. 6. Advise whether stop usage / boarding or waiting exposure, lighting, CCTV coverage, uptime and response data can be linked responsibly. Supply metadata, privacy conditions and costs before extraction. If a stop-only extract is infeasible, please explain which constraint prevents it and which partial outputs remain valid. Please do not substitute combined bus-premises or overall LGA crime totals.
